Sensor Photos and Specifications:

Anemometer, temp and rain sensors.

The entire weather station is visible in the above photo.

#1: The wireless anemometer/wind-direction sensor is mounted 30 feet above the ground.

#2: The wireless temperature/humidity sensor is mounted 5 feet above the ground on the side of a stairway. The main temperature/humidity used is a THGR810; a THGR801 is used for calibration.

#3: The wireless rain guage sensor is mounted 2.5 feet off the ground on a solid stump. Its accuracy is compromised by a 50-foot tree 20 feet away, and the house walls 10-15 feet away.

In the foreground, the central base station is visible. This communicates with all outdoor sensors wirelessly and uploads live data to the web via a pc setup. It contains the indoor temperature and humidity sensors, and the barometric pressure sensor.
