Welcome to Northwest Weather! This website displays live data from a personal weather station at The Tim Plass residence near Rathdrum, Idaho.

The weather station in use is the WMR100 Professional Weather Station, and these pages are updated every 10 minutes. The meteorological day used at this station ends at midnight.

Site Details:

This weather station has been active since June 2021. Cumulus MX weather station software version 3.13.8 (3154) is currently used to record data entries and power these web pages. Cumulus MX Software A link to a comprehensive database of this station has been posted on the Records page.

All outdoor sensors communicate wirelessly with an indoor base station (see below for a detailed review of the sensors), and software which continually uploads the live data to the web. The sensors receive diligent maintenance several times a year. This advanced station is located in beautiful North Idaho (photos), at the base of the Cabinet Mountains at latitude N 47° 48' 14", longitude W 116° 54' 57", and elevation 2185 feet.
